|07:19 pm - My day off|
All I want to say is that after 11 years working for the same company (off and on, sort of, long story), and as a veteran, it's about DAMN time they gave me Veteran's Day off.
(Although I did almost spend it getting lost in the snowy mountains and forests of Northern Nevada.)
That is all.
Well, except thanks again to everyone currently or formerly serving their country. You do a lot for very little thanks.
*poke* Thank you, Glambo.
So you were hiking/camping? Or almost?
Better you than me. ::is all princessy::
Glad you got your day off!
No, it was, "Hey, let's just take a little drive up Hunter Lake Road!" That sounded good. It was a lovely day for a drive.
And then we got kind of lost.
And drove over some ... interesting ... trails. (Who knew a GMC Jimmy could tip that far without totally tipping over? Not me and my adrenal glands, that's for damn sure.)
We did make it out before dark, though, thank goodness.

::has sympathy adrenalin rush::
::belated Veteran's Day hugs::

I hope you had fun.
Many thank to you and your sisters and brethren.
Although i'm a Canadian, i'm still grateful.
All we've got are some very polite guys and gals with old equipment, a couple of canoes, and lots of places to hide if things get dicey.
Glad you finally got your day off.
Thank you so much for your service and sacrifice for our country and freedoms. *salutes you*
