|05:51 pm - The election. Not quite over.|
I just got YET ANOTHER call, paid for by Bush/Cheney '04 Inc.
They said, and this is almost a direct quote, "Kerry is trying to steal the election through fraud and dirty tricks."
Isn't that libel or something? Or does libel not count in political arenas?
At least they said "the election is almost over and this will be our last call."
All political recorded message phone-spamming motherfuckers must die.
Or ... at least stub their TOES really really BAD!!!
That goes for the Democrats, too. It's just that the Republicans were the most recent to piss me off with phone spam.
I HOPE ALL YOU PHONE-SPAMMING MOTHERFUCKERS STUB YOUR TOES AND HIT YOUR FUNNYBONE ON THE COFFEE TABLE!
I hope much worse for them all, but then, I'm quite serious when I say I'm evil.
I thought it was illegal after midnight on election day to run political ads, calls, etc?
That's probably one of those things that went out with Reagan.
Could be. He did away with so many things...
Pardon me, but there's a curse brewing, a really BIG one, that I should probably go attend.
You answer your phone?
Is it wrong that I find that quaint?
It will be over soon, love.
Well... for the most part.
I kind of have to, since I work from home.
I should at least get caller ID or something, though.
Hell yes!! Get thee unto the phone, and order Caller ID forthwith! It's one of the few technological improvements to the telephone that I actually LIKE. (They can stuff "Call Waiting," though, ...) [slinks off to rant about Call Waiting]
I actually have caller ID, my phone just doesn't have a way to show it.
Which is kind of stupid, I guess, because why bother having caller ID?
The little readout thingies are pretty cheap. You can just plug it into your phone line. No need for a new phone.
Oh Missus, i am simply shocked and dismayed at your hideous name-calling. Bad girly. Now if the hubby's unable to provide proper correction...
* waggles eyebrows *
You know you'll miss it when tomorrow when they don't call you anymore.
Next time I suggest asking for their home numbers so you can keep in touch with them after the election.
