How time flies. It seems like just a few months ago we were doing the Great Reno Balloon Race thing, but apparently, it's been a year.

As always, one of my favorite things is the inside of the balloon as it's being inflated and the whole setup process. (Our pilot, Bob, says ballooning is a participation sport, and he makes everyone participate.) The flames that heat the air keep things nice and toasty once you're airborne too.

If you ever get a chance to go up in a hot air balloon, do it. Even if you're afraid of heights, do it. The ride is so gentle, you almost don't know that you're up high -- it's like suddenly you're looking at a map instead of the ground.
Oh, and for those of you who read last year's entry, we were in Mid-Life Crisis again this year. :-)
