He and my brother came by on Sunday again, looking for my Dad, who was out having ice cream with Mom.
"I hit a double!" Taylor informed me with pride.
"Really?" I exclaimed. "Cool! So, did you win?"
"No," he said. "We had three points, but the other team had six."
"Bummer."
"Hey, my dad says he has to get World of Warcraft!" Taylor suddenly announced.
My brother whipped his head around with a look of horror on his face. "I did not!" he exclaimed, looking a bit harried. "I said MAYBE I was THINKING about getting it!"
Taylor ignored him. "Yeah, he said we have to get it!" He was practically dancing with glee. My brother was still protesting that he hadn't really said that while Taylor pondered what kind of pet he'd like to have and how many more cows he could get.
I thought briefly about offering to buy them the game, but the look on my brother's face made me hold my tongue.
Well, that and the fact that if I'm the only one who has WoW, I can pay Taylor to level me up to 60. That kid has some 'l33t skillz, man. He may be only seven, but he definitely understands money. I figure, a buck a level, and he'll be cruisin'.
I bet he could solo Deadmines at level 10.
